GreenFestival and other Green Events in the Bay Area this Week

The GreenFestival starts today in San Francisco, and it is just one of many interesting-sounding green events sprouting up everywhere. I’m listing a few here, but I encourage others to write in with the many Bay Area events I have surely missed.

The Green Business Conference ends in just a couple of hours, but this afternoon is also the opening of the public-welcome part of the conference: Green Festival. If you are in the Bay Area, and are an aspiring entrepreneur, you have three days to be inspired by exhibits of organic foods and beverages, hemp-fiber clothing, garden tools made of recycled materials, and hundreds of other new products. (Green Festival) goes from 2pm today (November 9th) through this Sunday at 6pm.Next Thursday, November 15th, the City of Berkeley celebrates its “sustainability leaders” at its Green Gathering IV.

Bay Area residents will have to make a choice, because that same evening there is another green business event, The Future of Innovation: Digital & Green, which is billed as a dinner and panel discussion with business leaders, scientists and investors in Emeryville” (very near Berkeley).

And the next day(November 16th) is the opening of the three-day Energy EASE 07 conference in San Francisco, which brings together “Clean Energy users, manufacturers, investors and such” to discuss issues related to creating an alternative energy market.

Get out there and schmooze for the cause!
