Paul,

The issue and concern about our using a precious resource is something we have taken seriously as even though we live in a water rich land = the Netherlands, does not make it any less precious. We searched for a water compensation program for quite some time and could find one so working with a company called the value agency we developed out own. It's called Green Ads Blue and through this program we are investing in a water harvesting project in Brazil that will provide one liter of clean drinking water for each liter we use to produce out campaign. We have a long way to go in terms of conserving water, reusing water but we are dedicated to improving everyday. This makes GreenGraffiti one of the first companies in the world to compensate for our water footprint.

We hope that more people will give us feedback about our company so that we can learn and continue to approach the challenges with an open mind.

GreenGraffiti is currently entering into licensing agreements so that we can spread what we think is a great and simple idea.

You're most welcome Jim. Jennifer wrote me with an elaboration of her thoughts, I just contacted her alerting her that you'd commented here. So you should hear from her. This is why I love blogging, it connects people to create new possibilities...

Paul,

Thanks for the words of encouragement!

Jennifer, I would be very interested to talk to you about your ideas. We are always looking to improve our processes. What do you mean by a floor-type machine. You've got me interested.

A big thanks to all who have commented and we hope you keep your eyes on us.

Greetings from Amsterdam,

In terms of conservation, not sure if it would work, but might using steam and/or a floor-type machine instead of pressurized water work? In any event, love the idea and am thrilled to hear that water conservation is on their minds!
