Lime,

I totally agree. Some companies get this now and they really feel a pull from both their clients and their employees.

In this last year alone we have had talks with Toyota, MercyCorps, City of Plano (TX), City of Denton (TX), Baron & Budd, PLC, TTLA, and many others wanting to make the switch as much as possible.

The people that don't think that doing whatever is possible to help the planet, even small stuff like going with biodegradable packaging, are the one with "real problems".

Their problem? They will be out of a job when their company decides to hire a marketing direct, CEO, etc. that understands what is happening in the market.

I have recently talked to a group of marketers, including senior marketing managers, about marketing, sustainability and promoting green solutions at corporate level.

The response? Rolled eyeballs and sighs "but we've got real problems".

Not sure how many years it will take them to see necessity for corporates to go green. But one day they'll get there.

Problem is the last ones to join the bandwagon will not benefit from increased customer satisfaction. By then going green will be the norm.
