Have Washington break the union hold and ask anybody if $35/hr is worthwhile getting up in the morning for. With a renewed focus on energy efficiency through mandated loans, and tax incentives for buyers; Michigan could be running 24/7. Why would anyone subsidize an industry that pays forklift drivers $75/hr? If the question is repositioned from entitlement to survival, the solution becomes obvious.

Think Tanks are Blogging the Bailout

The Competitive Enterprise Institute, the Cato Institute, the Heritage Foundation, Club for Growth, the National Taxpayers Union and others have joined forces at BeyondBailouts.org, a site designed to fight against further bailouts and to let Washington know how outraged the American people really are about this handout for Wall Street.

The Competitive Enterprise Institute and the National Taxpayers Union started BeyondBailouts.org and have since brought several other think tanks and advocacy groups on board as supporting partners. The site allows visitors to write their Congressman, sign a petition, and view syndicated news from several think tanks and advocacy groups.

Check it out and tell Washington what you think of this welfare for the wealthy.
