Where I live in Brisbane, Australia, Earth Day hasn't yet been snapped up by manufacturers. It has, however, become an excuse for restaurants to push special Earth Day candle-lit dinners at much higher prices than normal.

Maryanne,

I know how you feel. We have been very busy with new client orders - basically companies looking for the eco-friendly promotional items we sell. But are they going to be calling us again in May or June? I wonder.

The old "make everyday Earth Day" slogan really needs to stop being a slogan and be more of a fact for more businesses and organizations.
