I myself use Feedly, which is built on top of Google Reader. It's really brought to life my RSS feeds, and de-siloes them, connecting to related information and sources across the web and specifically, several social media outlets. If I find a blog with great info, I'll follow it. Labels are *key* every feed I subscribe to in reader has 4 or 5 labels associated with it so I can find information I'm thinking about. Stay focused! Keep your passion in mind when filtering what you want to direct to your reader. if its interesting but not directly relevant to your passions, goals, friend groups, let it go.
