canopy beds are fun, but bulky and pricey. However, buying FSC wood is something that everyone can do with anything…I’m buying a murphy bed for a studio. Studios, need less energy because they are smaller.

@Patrick: Agreed re pricing. If there was a model that focused on the directed AC/humidity, at a lower cost, or they offered financing on the current offering, this could draw more people to the table. Or bed, as it were

As with most people, they hate having to turn on the A/C for an entire house when they are sleeping in a single bed the entire night. I would imagine people would buy this type of bed if it became for cost effective simply because people might be scared away by a high initial cost.

an admirable solution to meet the energy requirements of a former “luxury” that has long since become a “necessity”. In a bedroom where a mini-split might just be too big for efficiency, this looks like it could be a good first-choice solution.
