We only sell remanufactured ink and toner cartridges that are produced strictly in the USA and all of our products carry the STMC and ISO:9001 certificates. But it is still a hard sell to some customers because of all the so called compatibles that flooded the market. I hear time and time again, “we tried some a while ago but they were exploding in our printers” I have yet to have one problem with our cartridges, and i attribute that to the quality craftsmanship that goes into our cartridges. Its just a shame we have to compete with the so called compatibles.

I don’t necessary think the company needs to be ISO certified; however, make sure the company is open about the process they use to produce their cartridges and make sure it includes cleaning and replacing parts. Our local customers love to tour our facility, which I think is awesome, because then they know how much work and what kind of labor we put into every part we produce.

I agree with Remark Imaging make sure that when you buy remanufactured ink or toner cartridges the remanufacturer and or retailer is ISO-9001 certified. Great Article!

As initially a user of printers and cartridges, I was initially not so sure about remanufactured, or re-filled cartridges but I am now a complete convert as long as you find someone who knows what they are doing technically. It is essential that the remanufacturing world produces good products from recycled cartridges to not accentuate the issue by turning consumers back to OEM products. Great article…
