"Can the jar opener hangers be recycled?". While these hangers are made from recycled tires. I do not think they themselves can be recycled.

Actually there are door hangers with seeds made for our industry. Take a look at the items from Symphony Handmade Seed Papers, http://www.seedpapers.com/ and http://proformagreen.com/eco-floral.shtml.

An interesting idea I like things that have an extra reuse. But what happens if you no longer want/need the jar opener/door hanger? I ask because I already have a couple jar openers/swag items that I use and wouldn't need another one if someone hung it on my door. At least if it were a paper hanger I could recycle it. Can the jar opener hangers be recycled?

Interesting idea. I wonder if there are any door hangers made out of paper with seeds inside, like some greeting cards. That seems like it could also be a good option.
