Debbie Hyde, from the UK tells us that she loves the site and routinely features our stories on an internet radio show she hosts on – Brooklands Radio. Talking with Debbie, we hatched out a small plan for her to have a special Ecopreneurist feature on her show every week! We are super stoked!

Tune in: on Sundays at 21:00 GMT (4 pm EST)– a radio station run entirely by volunteers.

It’s All Good: On the Show, Sunday April 14

This week, Debbie will talk about “Not accepting the norm!”, as it applies to changing how we do things for greater good!

In this spirit, she will talk about Ennovent, an organization that sees opportunities in new markets. Entrepreneurs often face several barriers when bringing innovations for low-income communities – such as solar lamps, rural primary healthcare or affordable education – successfully to market.

Ennovent accelerates innovations for sustainability in low-income markets. They discover enterprises with novel solutions, develop business models to startup enterprises, proide finance and grow operations to scale profit and impact. Since 2008 Ennovent has worked with over 4,500 Network members to accelerate over 70 sustainable innovations for low-income people in developing countries.
